New terms and conditions of the membership agreement

The majority of the SERTY membership agreements have been concluded during the period between 2005-2006, at which time the WEEE decree entered into force in Finland. Due to the changes in legislation and practices, SERTY has amended the therms and conditions of its membership
agreements, which enter into force on 1 September 2019.

In the coming weeks, we will contact each member company about the matter.

Tampere is calling!

Already the fourth Producer Responsibility Afternoon (producer responsibility event ‘Tuottajavastuuiltapäivä’) will be held on Wednesday 6 November 2019 at 12.30pm. As before, the event will be held in Tampere Hall. This year, the theme for the event is future, and the theme will, once again, be introduced by top professionals in the field. Time has also been allocated for networking in connection with, e.g., cocktails.

The delegation of producer associations has sent e-mail invitations to all of our Finnish-speaking members. The event is free. Additional information and registration for the event by 23 October 2019 via www.tuottajayhteiso.fi.

Welcome to our autumn meeting

SERTY’s statutory autumn meeting will be held on Monday 25 November 2019 at 9.30am on SERTY’s office premises at Pasilankatu 2, 00240 Helsinki, Finland. The agenda of the meeting includes, e.g., the election of board members and the budget for next year.

We will send a separate notice of meeting and the related agenda to the contact persons of all member companies at the beginning of November.

No changes in the WEEE recycling fees

SERTY Board has decided to keep the recycling fees unchanged, there will be no changes in the WEEE recycling fees 1 Jan 2020.
