The producers of this equipment must take care of their producer responsibility according to the law. SERTY manages the collection and recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment on behalf of its members.

Old household appliances can be taken to collection points free of charge. The contact information of the collection points can be found at www.kierratys.info. Some stores also accept discarded electrical equipment.

Yritys, tuottajavastuu on lakisääteinen

SERTYn toiminta perustuu SER-asetukseen ja sen voimaantulon myötä ilmenneeseen tarpeeseen eri laitevalmistajien ja maahantuojien keskuudessa. Koko maan kattavaa SER:n keräys-, kuljetus-, kierrätystoimintaa ylläpidetään kierrätysmaksuilla, jotka kerätään uusien tuotteiden myynnin yhteydessä. Jäseneksi voivat liittyä kaikki sähkö- ja elektroniikkalaitteiden maahantuojat ja valmistajat.
